Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)
For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
not of works, lest anyone should boast.

- Not only grace, FAITH itself is a gift of God
- We’re spiritually dead and are born under sin
-
Second birth – given by God (i.e. God the Father) is spiritual awareness?
-
We can not give birth of ourselves, nothing we can take control of.
-
If faith is out of US, then faith becomes a WORK. We have no part to take in Salvation. The salvation belongs to God.
-
We’re Christian not because we are better then someone else, it’s a gift from God, God “chose” to be graceful to us. (Is this not fair?) NO! All grace belongs to God and he has no obligation to save us – if so, that’s no grace at all, it’s a duty. We’re all sinners, if God holds back his grace we’ll ALL end up in destruction, and that’s the consequence we suffer. “For the wages of sin is death”.
-
We’re first saved by God then believed.
Man’s only hope is for God to seek us (John 6:37, 44), because out of our ignorance, we’ll never seek God. It’s only after we’re saved, our eyes are open to follow God
Romans 3:10-11
“As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not even one;
There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.’”

hello, my long-forgotten xanga~ Hope you didnt get all moldy...
i think it's time for me to do some spring cleaning for my blog  *keekee*

GORGEOUS! these couple days of gorgeousness really DID cheer me up~ i love it when i can through away my jacket, walk around thoughtlessly just to enjoy the beaming sunshine!! Seeing everything come to life again after the LOOOONG winter just amazed me. I'm in awe surrounded by all the wonderful creations!! The budding tree, the greening grass, the blooming flower, the humming bird, the dancing squirrel...everything EVERYTHING...breathes the greatness of our Lord!!

Having to grow up in HK, i feel like i missed the whole "nature" thing in my childhood...not like there's none around, but i'm just too occupied with everything else. i'm actually really glad that my parents brought us hiking once in awhile when we're young, so that i can taste a little of the nature's beauty. After i came to Canada, i'm totally embracing it, and always wanting more ^^ i guess i just learn to appreaciate it more now, every single bit of it!!

i've determined not to sleep in, and get to work EARLY from now on...so the sun'll still be up went i get off ^^ and i'll have all the time to enjoy this lovely season!!

Happy that i'm finally out of there for 8 months, but not so cuz i know i will be missing school a lot~ i really do like studying at the end. My supervisor is so nice, cant be any nicer~ This is such a blessing!! i felt so much like home here even though this is my first day, and we just gets along. lots of names to remember though :S hope i'd get use to all the people at the end of this week. Did some more WESTERN again today. much practice over the past semester at Pierre's lab, seems like that's the only thing i did last semester, lol. Though this time i gotta develop the film myself in an old fashion way...so i actually get to dip the film in all kinds of solution in the dark room! craziness~ feels like i'm working in a photolab ^^ OH!! i got a new lab coat BRAD NEW!! and a pretty, thick lab note book with NRC printed on it as a welcome package...SWEEEEEEEEET!(the lab coat is a little oversize though...like it's always been) i got my own desk, computer, new email account, and banch space at the lab too~ how wonderful! ...yah...and a stack of journals to read :S this would be my homework tonite......
