| Listen to this statement on evangelism...
Are we really focusing on the "package" of Evangelism more than what is inside?
What are we preaching? the Gospel itself, or what WE THINK the gospel is all about.
Where are we getting our "food"? directly from the WORD, or from words of others...
Do we care more about whether it "works" or not, or we care about whether the TRUTH being preach?
What is Evangelism about anyways?

| "Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. And I will sanctify My great name, which has been among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, " says the Lord GOD, "when I am hallowed in you before their their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people and I will be your God. I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you. And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations. Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations. Not for your sake do I do this," says the Lord GOD, "let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel!"
What a wonderful picture of our salvation. Praise GOD for His amazing grace, that is ALL of His work, not of us.

| John chapter 6 (NKJV)
35 And Jesus said to them, ‘I am the
bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes
in Me shall never thirst. But I say to you that you have seen Me and yet do not
believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast
out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will
of Him who sent Me. This is the will of my Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but
should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent
me, that everyone who see the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting
life; and I will raise him up at the last day.’”
44 “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I
will raise him up at the last day…Therefore everyone who has heard and learned
from the father comes to Me. Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who
is from God; He has seen the Father.” 63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that i speak to you are spirit, and they are life." 65 " Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by the Father."
From this passage, it is quite clear that We're saved ONLY because God grant us salvation. it is not of WORK, and there's NOTHING we can do to gain our own salvation. We seek God because God FIRST draws us to Him.
Jesus will lose NONE that belongs to His. This does not depend on how much we do, or how many people we "bring to Chirst"; It is TOTALLY depends on the will of God. Evangelism is an act of obedience toward God. God commands us to spread the gospel (Matt 28: 18-20) regardless of the result. God will deal with US if we dont obey he commands, but that wont affect His will, and the ones belong to Him WILL be saved regardless.
